Apex Paralegal Group was founded by Jacqui Sacks — a legal professional with more than 25 years of active experience inside some of South Africa's most demanding law firms, including Webber Wentzel, Norton Rose Fulbright, Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, and Bowman Gilfillan.

Having worked as a Senior Litigation Secretary and PA to Directors and Chairmen at firms operating at the highest levels of South African and international legal practice, Jacqui saw the same problem repeat itself across every firm: talented, experienced legal support professionals were underutilised, expensive to employ full-time, and impossible to find quickly when the need arose.
